Have you ever lied about your income?
Would you provide false information to access a better rate on a financial product? Though most resist, you are not alone if you do as almost one in five (19%) UK adults would too.
The chances you would commit this fraud rise if you are Gen Z (44%) or a Millennial (38%), the two generations who have been identified as the drivers of this trend.
Meanwhile, more than one in ten (11%) do not see an issue with putting yourself as a named driver on a vehicle for someone else, even though you don’t drive it, and 9% think the same about receiving money from a third party to forward on to someone else in exchange for commission.
Aston spoke to James Robinson, managing director of consumer interactive at TransUnion UK.
