Health-conscious Brits turn to tech to meet New Year fitness goals
According to new research, more than a third (39%) of Brits intend to use a health and fitness app next year to stick to their New Year resolution and help reach their 2026 fitness goals.
Almost half say the main benefit is the motivation it provides, with 47% citing reminders, progress tracking and goal tools as key to helping them stay on track.
The research from Better who are launching their new Live Better platform today, also reveals four in ten people (40%) want to get fitter and improve their overall health this coming year, while 32% feel improving mental health and reducing stress is a key goal.
Aston spoke to Tom Popsys, health and fitness expert at Better and Grace Gimson, tech entrepreneur, founder and tech brains behind the Live Better platform.
