International Cat Day

International Cat Day (8^th August) is a day to unite cat lovers across the globe and celebrate cats.

Our feline friends are independent, clean and spontaneous – characteristics many of us can relate to – and even though most people think they’re a dog person, they actually carry all of the traits a cat portrays, according to new research.

To mark International Cat Day leading animal welfare charity, Battersea, is highlighting its impact on feline welfare since taking in its very first feline residents in 1883.

Aston spoke to Joanna Puzzo, feline behaviour & training manager at Battersea.
