Julia Bradbury celebrates our energy heroes

Do you know where your energy comes from? Do you know that last year in the UK we produced 93% of our own electricity?

What’s more, 2020 and 2021 were the highest years on record for the amount of renewable energy we generated from wind, solar, hydro and biofuels.

Despite this, new research from Smart Energy GB reveals that lots of Brits are unsure about where our energy comes from, but are keen to find out more.

Aston spoke to TV presenter Julia Bradbury.
