Laura Hamilton giving Easter DIY tips
As we approach the Easter bank-holiday weekend, new research has uncovered that half of UK homeowners (50%) are preparing to dust off the toolboxes and paintbrushes to dabble in some DIY during the extended time off.
Tackling gardens (29%), fitting new carpet (28%), and giving homes a fresh lick of paint (51%), are some of the top changes homeowners want to make this spring, with over half (58%) planning to have a full de-clutter.
With house prices only now stabilising after a tumultuous period, 26% of homeowners are choosing to invest in their current property to add value for the future with modernising their property (41%) a priority, according to new research from LoftZone. Indeed, for almost a quarter (22%) wanting to turn their current home into their forever home rather than moving is the main reason for undertaking a renovation.
Aston spoke to TV presenter Laura Hamilton and Dave Raval, CEO of Loftzone.
