Today (26^th September) is the day that most babies will be born in the UK* and new parents across the country will be showered with gifts for their little bundles of joy.

Nearly three quarters (71%) of parents say they receive the most love and support straight after birth, according to new research from Bloom & Wild, but while the excitement peaks when babies are brought home, many new parents find it difficult when they are left with the baby alone for the first time.

There is so much anticipation and preparation from parents focused on the due date, but many forget that the fourth trimester brings its own challenges.
