Listen: flu fears rise
Brits are more concerned than ever about catching the flu this winter, despite turning to the old Covid saying Hands, Face, Space to avoid getting ill whilst out and about, a new survey shows.
When asked what they are doing to prevent catching or cold or flu this winter, many are washing their hands more regularly (55%), using face coverings (51%) and avoiding crowded spaces (54%), but this worry is not subsiding and Brits are left feeling helpless about what to do to keep hygiene levels high.
According to the new research by Dragon’s Den success story, Nursem, two thirds are sanitising their hands more regularly than in the past, 43% are washing or cleaning their surfaces more and a third of Brits are simply trying to avoid peak time on public transport.
Caring skincare brand, Nursem, has launched a revolutionary alcohol free Caring Hand Sanitiser to help care for hands whilst it sanitises. It uses innovative hypochlorous that is proven to be as effective as alcohol gel against 99.9% of viruses and bacteria. It’s suitable for the most sensitive of hands by being as gentle to skin as water. Hypochlorous is one of nature’s most effective antiviral substances found within white blood cells as part of our own immune system.
