Listen: half term road safety
As the half-term holidays arrive, new research reveals the top concerns and habits of British drivers, shedding light on the risks and preparations drivers consider before embarking on journeys.
As families prepare for road trips across the UK, the top three risks on the road concerning Brits this half-term are bad weather conditions (32%), increased traffic and congestion (26%) – with 1 in 4 drivers concerned about the impact of roadworks disrupting their travel plans.
While we may be off exploring parts of the UK that we don’t usually get the chance to see this half-term, the research highlights that 1 in 8 Brits have been involved in an accident while on a staycation, emphasising the importance of road safety and preparedness.
