Orangutans are in critical danger of extinction in the near future!

They are the much-loved creatures that are often referred to as the gatekeepers and guardians of the rainforest but based on data from the International Union for Conservation of Nature, all three species of orangutans are listed as critically endangered.

To combat the growing threat facing the species, the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation, an Indonesian non-profit, non-governmental organisation, has dedicated their work to the conservation of the endangered Borneo orangutan, their habitats and local Indigenous communities.

Borneo Orangutan Survival UK is the Foundation’s UK arm to bring their work to our British community. Through their UK efforts, they provide crucial education on the issues facing orangutans and support the lifesaving work of BOS Foundation.
