It’s official, the East of England (76%) is joint fourth most stressed-out place in the UK this Christmas, alongside South East and London.
It was the North East (79%) that took first place and Yorkshire / Humberside (78%) second.
The survey by A.F. Blakemore (Spar) showed as many as 31% of Brits say Christmas is the most stressful time of the year, with big food shops (25%), not having enough oven space (23%) and parcels failing to show up (11%) among the top anxiety triggers.
