Ski holidays weren’t on the cards for Brits last winter, with travel restrictions in force due to the pandemic – as well as the UK’s own lockdown rules, which at the time included a ban on international travel.

However, with ongoing vaccine rollouts and easing restrictions, snow-starved skiers will be hitting the slopes this season as ski resorts across Europe are once again opening to holidaymakers – meaning 2021/22 should be a ski season to remember.

The 6.3 million Brits who regularly hit the slopes are now free to do so, with Austria confirming it be open to overseas visitors, as well as Germany, France, and Switzerland.
