Listen: the great resignation

In what’s being called “The Great Resignation,” employees around the world are reevaluating their lives and quitting their jobs in record numbers. Now, faced by a shortage of workers, many companies are adjusting policies to keep their staff happy.

New research from Firstup, the leader in digital employee experience, and newly formed company resulting from the merger of SocialChorus and Dynamic Signal, reveals the top demands from more than 23,000 workers across ten countries, including 5,000 in the UK. The results suggest better communication from the senior management team would help them feel more valued and improve their work experience. Furthermore, mental health support, adequate IT support for deskless workers, and clear boundaries between work and life are among employees’ top priorities.
