Listen: top UK nanny reveals her tips on travelling with ‘lockdown babies’

After taking a little holiday of its own for the past few years, travel is well and truly back!

It’s been a while since Brits were able to relax and unwind in a new destination, and for many there will have been huge changes at home during the pandemic, perhaps in the form of a new addition to the family. These so-called ‘lockdown babies’ who were born during the pandemic will likely be getting their first taste of holiday sunshine very soon.

And travelling with a baby or toddler (perhaps for the first time!) is not going to stop parents from getting away this year. According to a new poll of parents who welcomed a ‘lockdown baby’, 8 in 10 say they plan to get away with their little one(s) in 2022. The study was commissioned by global experts in family holiday rentals Vrbo as part of their annual Family Holiday Insider report.

Aston spoke to nanny expert Shada ‘Nanny Sharz’ Lambert and Karen Mullins from Vrbo.
