Lizzie Daly on the new helping animals guide

A new initiative that aims to inspire an effort from the whole nation to collectively complete 1 million actions to help animals has begun today.

Developed by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), the ‘1 Million Actions’ campaign will ask the public to share their positive deeds and hopes to achieve a million actions across the next year.

And to support this huge effort, the global charity has created a fun guide of activities that anyone can try – no matter where they live or how old they are – as part of their contribution towards the one million target.

Aston spoke to wildlife biologist and broadcaster Lizzie Daly and Frances Goodrum, head of campaigns at IFAW UK.
