Local businesses encouraged to sign the age friendly employer pledge
The UK economy could unlock £6.6 billion a year by returning to pre-pandemic later life workforce levels, and an additional £1.2 billion by returning to pre-pandemic levels of later-life volunteers.
That’s according to the new ‘Platinum Pound’ report by think tank Demos, supported by Anchor, which reveals the impact that the decline in our later life workforce is having on the economy.

Aston spoke to Mario Ambrosi, director of communications and marketing at Anchor.
