Love Island’s Belle Hassan on peak beauty age

Getting older is an inescapable reality. But when exactly do we notice the ageing process in the mirror and start moaning about wrinkles to friends? While ageing might seem like a daunting prospect, a new study – which explores the age Britons think they’ll be at their most beautiful – suggests youth isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

New research released today by FOREO, the Swedish skintech company, reveals men look their best at 34 while women are considered to be at their most attractive at 31. And on the flipside, the British public believe men and women stop looking attractive at 53 and 52 respectively. Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder, as one in three (34%) say confidence is more attractive than outward beauty.

Aston spoke to beauty expert and 2019 Love Island contestant Belle Hassan.
