Married at First Sight’s Mel Schilling on our relationships positions on the sofa

A third of British couples will spend over 1,040 hours each year – the equivalent of 43 full days – watching TV on the couch together.

But the poll, conducted by connectivity provider TalkTalk, shows just 4% enjoy a cuddle while doing so.

In fact, the most popular position for UK couples is sitting at opposite ends of the sofa (31%).
