MND Association reveal stats on the special moments people treasure most with their dads ahead of Father’s Day
As families across the UK are preparing to celebrate Father’s Day this Sunday (21 June), new research by the Motor Neurone Disease Association reveals the value people place in spending quality time with their dads and expressing how much they mean to them.
Nearly a third (31%) of UK adults would choose to spend time hearing their dad’s stories and life lessons, while one in five (20%) would like to ask him questions they were too young or shy to ask before. A fifth (20%) would love to recreate a favourite childhood memory with their dad.
This year, the MND Association – the largest MND charity in the UK – is marking Global MND Awareness Day by celebrating the special days which matter to people living with MND and their families. As families across the UK mark Father’s Day, the charity is encouraging people to celebrate those connections, share stories and make the most of the special days that matter.
