NHS lung cancer roadshow launches

NHS England has joined forces with Roy Castle Lung Foundation and TV doctor Dr Chris George to launch the Let’s Talk Lung Cancer Roadshow – a national tour of the world’s first walk-through lung exhibit, to raise awareness of the symptoms of lung cancer.

As part of the ‘Help Us, Help’ You campaign, the Let’s Talk Lung Cancer Roadshow will be touring the country from Monday 3^rd October and visiting communities with a giant exhibit of 12 x 15ft inflatable lungs, aiming to spark positive and reassuring conversations about lung cancer within communities.

The lungs will visit areas across the country, visiting areas which have significantly higher rates of lung cancer, with the roadshow aiming to start conversations about the illness and its symptoms – such as having a cough for three weeks or more.
