Not all roads lead to university

With A-Levels results just two days away (18th August) students are being assured that all is not lost if they don’t get the grades they need to go to university.

New research has shown the graduate job market is booming and for some, not going onto higher education could be a blessing in disguise with many students then being able to make their first steps onto the career ladder.

In fact, 87% of employers would favour a positive work attitude over qualifications in an entry level job and 78% agree candidates who are passionate about the role is a better quality than holding a degree.

Aston spoke to Danny Stacy, head of talent intelligence for UK & Ireland at Indeed.
