Peter Komolafe: Brits are falling victim to “subscription creep”
Brits stuck in ‘rip-off contracts’ reckon overpriced deals are costing them £576 a year more than they should be paying.
From overpriced TV packages to rising energy bills and mobile contracts that no longer fit their needs, many households are quietly paying far more than they should. In fact, more than a third (38%) say they’re currently tied into at least one agreement that doesn’t feel worth the money.
New research commissioned by mobile and broadband provider Community Fibre, found nearly a quarter (23%) believe better deals are available elsewhere, while 26% are actively trying to find cheaper alternatives across most or all of their contracts.
