Experts have compiled a music playlist together to keep dogs occupied as owners ease themselves back into normal life. Vets are warning of an increase in emotional problems for many pets and owners are expressing the same concerns. Two in five owners say that they are worried about their dogs for when the lockdown is fully lifted while 42% say their dogs will be confused when their owners start to be home a lot less.
The five hour playlist is designed specifically to be played while owners are out of the house and with affirmations to make sure your fluffy pal knows just how much of a good boy he is, it can keep dogs occupied and in the right frame of mind while they’re home alone. In between every track your pooch will hear “You’re a good boy. Did you enjoy that song? Shall we listen some more?”
FRONTLINE® also found that over half of Brits (52%) say that music is important to the well-being of their dog, with 46% of pups singing along to a merry tune and another 42% showing their enjoyment by wagging their tail.
Aston spoke to Emma Milne, celebrity vet to discuss the benefits of music to our dogs, particularly when going through an emotional transition such as lockdown ending.
