Quentin Willson on calls to reinstate electric vehicle grant

Fiat UK has renewed its call on the government to reinstate its electric car grant to achieve 2030 sales targets.

Last year, Fiat launched its own electric car grant of £3000, twelve months after the government removed any financial incentives to encourage drivers to go electric.

The Fiat E-grant was initially offered on the 500e and the 500e convertible and is now available on the new 600e and Abarth 500e. The Fiat £3,000 grant is to show its customers it’s doing its bit to support the government targets.
