Ray Mears on what TV shows and films inspires us to head outdoors this autumn

Now findings show how people are being inspired by what they see on TV shows and films to get out into the UK countryside.

The research from Destination British Columbia reveals the surprising shows and films that people were inspired by. People cite The Great British Bake Off (16%), The Crown (18%), and even Lord of the Rings (14%) as reasons for making more effort to explore nature.
