The Scout Association is today (Friday, 12th April) launching their new fundraising activity badge partnership that encourages the 460,000 young people they work with to become more active members of their community.

The partnership sees the Scout Association working alongside online fundraising platform, GoFundMe and the badge itself is available to Scouts (10‐14 years old) and Explorers (14‐18 years old) who are willing to raise money for either the Association itself or another registered UK charity.

Aston spoke to Helen Dagley from GoFundMe and also GP and mental health expert Dr Dominique Thompson as to why the youth are socially minded and also about the new scout association fundraising badge.
