Southend Theatres summer youth project present the Wizard of Oz

Southend Theatres have a got a production through their summer youth project which is featuring 80 in the cast and 10 on the crew and this year they have been working on the show Wizard of Oz which will be on at the Palace Theatre on 7th to 10th August.

The summer youth project introduces young people in and around the area to the performing arts world from being on stage or being part of the backstage crew every year. It has seen some of their past particpants go on to a further career within the performing arts industry.
