Strictly Come Dancing celebrates musicals

The remaining five couples took to the dancefloor to impress us and as well as the judges as they danced to soundtracks from our favourite musicals.

Topping the judges leaderboard scoring a perfect 40/40 was 2017 Love Island winner and stage actress Amber Davies and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin for their Charleston to Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat from the musical Guys and Dolls.

Motsi Mabuse was given the power of the casting vote in case of a tie for the dance off this past weekend which despite being top of the judges leaderboard Amber found herself in the dance off along with former Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope and his professional dance partner Katya Jones. The judges unaminously voted to save Amber meaning Lewis in a surprise is now out of Strictly Come Dancing 2025.

Strictly Come Dancing will return this weekend where the remaining couples will dance twice to earn their place in the final.
