Strictly Come Dancing celebrates the icons of music

Week 5 of Strictly Come Dancing had it’s themed icons week which celebrates some of the icons within the music industy from Prince to Celine Dion and from Johnny Cash to Harry Styles.

Sadly in the week leading up to week 5 of Strictly Come Dancing 2025 Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell had to withdraw from the series due to an injury that Stefan incured during his routine in week 4. So 11 couples took to the dance floor to impress the judges.

Topping the judges leaderboard for the second time this series was former Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope and his professional dance partner Katya Jones scoring 34/40 for their Johnny Cash inspired quickstep.

This past weekend saw Anton Du Beke given the power of the casting if there was a tie in the dance off. The dance off this past weekend saw former Chelsea footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and his professional dance partner Lauren Oakley and 2017 Love Island winner & stage actress Amber Davies and her professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin. The judges unaminously voted to save Amber meaning Jimmy become the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2025.

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend for it’s Halloween themed week.
