Strictly Come Dancing celebrates the musicals

Following the elimination of TV presenter Angela Scanlon the remaining couples took the dancefloor to impress the judges for musicals week.

Topping the judges leaderboard was West End performer and Bad Education actor Layton Williams and his professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin scoring a perfect 40 out of 40 for their Paso Doble to a soundtrack from the musical Moulin Rouge.

There was no dance off this week because actor Nigel Harman and his professional dance partner Katya Jones have had to withdraw from the series due to injury that Nigel sustained during rehearsals.

The remaining 4 couples will return to the dance floor this weekend where they will perform 2 dances in a bid to make the final of Strictly Come Dancing.
