Last night the highly anticipated Apple Event announced the release of the iPhone12 and no doubt on the release date we will see fans desperate to be one of the first to get their hands on it.

While 5G has been live in the UK for a little over a year now, will be the foundation for whole new types of entertainment and services.

Since 2016 Apple has sold over 7 million iPhones per year in the UK. Indeed, the average Brit checks their phone every 12 minutes and the average amount of mobile data used per month in 2019 was 3.56GB, up from 2.91GB in 2018, according to Ofcom.

Aston spoke to TV presenter Suzi Perry to discuss what 5G means for the UK and the iPhone, how it can support whole new forms of entertainment like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, mobile gaming and Ultra High-Def video.
