The Mayor of Basildon visits Gateway 97.8

Following the Basildon local elections that took place on 7th May where residents of Basildon made their decision to remain in no overall control, it has seen a change in the administration of Basildon Council which has seen the youngest ever Mayor of Basildon appointed.

The new Mayor of Basildon is Cllr Sam Journett (leader of Basildon Reform) and he joined Daytime presenter Aston Avery to chat about his recent appointment of becoming Mayor of Basildon on Gateway 97.8.
