Fussy kids will refuse to eat two meals a week, with two more thrown away practically untouched.

New research with parents who have children aged four to 16 – by meal kit company HelloFresh – has found three in five consider their child to be a fussy eater.

In fact, almost half of parents feel obliged to cook more than one different meal each night to keep everyone happy.

Aston spoke to food scientist and flavour expert Dr Rachel Edwards-Stuart about as to why people are fussy eaters.
