Tradespeople, builders, and construction businesses demand urgent government action

The construction sector has reached a critical tipping point due to a combination of thousands of companies ceasing to trade; housing delivery falling dramatically short of demand; and chronic skills shortages.

That’s according to a group of Britain’s builders, tradespeople and construction businesses who have united behind a national campaign calling for urgent government action.

The newly launched Let’s Get Britain Building – NOW! campaign is calling on the government to deliver an emergency package of measures to restore confidence, stimulate demand and remove barriers preventing the industry from delivering the homes, jobs and economic growth the nation needs.
