Traitors star Jack Marriner-Brown on the north, south divide

Regional rivalries are yesterday’s news as both people in the North and South are swapping stereotypes for sightseeing and a love for one another’s culture.

In fact, a whopping 96% admit they enjoy visiting their geographical opposites, while as many as 61% would be happy to relocate across the divide. That’s according to research from open access rail operators, Lumo and Hull Trains.

Southerners up North most enjoy the lower costs, the Lake District, the country pubs and the chips and gravy. As many as 12% say that Sean Bean should be classed as a Northern treasure, naming him as one of the best things about the North.
