Ten celebrites who included Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah, Coronation Street actress Beverley Callard and TV presenter Vernon Kay started their life in camp, albeit in a castle this year.
Before they could start camping ,all ten celebrities had to retrieve their rucksack which was hanging on some rocks above ground. By retrieving them they had to answer questions about themselves, failure in retrieving their ruck sack would’ve meant they would have had to go without their camping gear. Luckily all contestants were successful in retrieving their bags.
A few hours after arriving into camp Ant & Dec broke the news that all ten celebrities would be taking part in the first bushtucker trial of the series titled “The Gates to Hell”. What the celebrities had to do was get the stars from side of the maze to the other – the celebrities managed to get seven out of ten stars.
The next bushtucker trial is called “The Viper Vault” and public votes via the I’m a Celebrity app meant that stage and screen actor Shane Richie and radio broadcaster Jordan North will be taking on the trial.
