1st celebrity eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing

This weekend on Strictly Come Dancing saw the first elimination of the series.

The scores judge were carried over from last week which TV presenter AJ Odudu and her dance partner Kai Widdrington top the leaderboard with the score of 34. This week saw Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies and dancer partner Aljaz Skorjanec who were bottom of the judges leaderboard last week finish the night joint top with chef & TV presenter Tilly Ramsay and her dance partner Nikita Kuzman, with both scoring 34 points, But when combined it was TV presenter AJ Odudu and her dance partner Kai Widdrington topping the judges leaderboard with a score of 65.

The first dance off of the new series featured former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn and her dance partner Gorka Marquez and stage and screen actress Nina Wadia and her dance partner Neil Jones. The judges would vote to save Katie meaning Nina Wadia became the first celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing this year.
