7 become 6 on Strictly Come Dancing

Following actress Caroline Quentin’s elimation last week. The remaining 7 couples took to the floor to impress the judges as well as the public.

For the first time this series a celebrity has topped the leaderboard more than once as singer HRVY along with his dance partner Janette Manrara scored a maxium 30 (first perfect score of the series) for their street dance, whilst Eastenders star from Southend Maisie Smith along with her dance partner Gorka Marquez achieving their highest score of the series with their score of 29 for their quickstep.

This week, the dance off featured for the second time this series Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing and his dance partner Karen Hauer and for the first time this series radio broadcaster Clara Amfo and her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec. The judges voted 2 – 1 in favour to save Jamie meaning Clara’s time on Strictly Come Dancing is over.

The remaining 6 couples will take to the floor in a musical special where all dances will soundtracks from musicals and it’s also quarter final week.
