Strictly Come Dancing gears up for the semi-finals

This past weekend was the quarter-finals for Strictly Come Dancing 2021 and it also saw the return of Motsi Mabuse on the judging panel after she was forced to isolate the week before.

There was a tie a the top of the judges leaderboard and they were CBBC presenter Rhys Stephenson and his Nancy Xu and Eastender actress Rose Ayling-Ellis and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice both scoring 39 for their dances.

The dance off this time round featured BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova and TV presenter AJ Odudu and her dance partner Kai Widdrington. The judges unaminously voted to save AJ meaning Dan’s time on Strictly Come Dancing is now over.

Strictly Come Dancing returns this weekend for the semi-finals where the remaining 4 couples will perform not once, but twice.
