TV wine expert Olly Smith on Gateway

Forget veganism and eating insects… the ultimate environmentalism trend this summer is keeping it local and foraging. Woodlands and hedgerows are rife with herbs, berries and other produce but just because its cheap and green doesn’t mean it can’t be fine dining.

Norwegian forager Marte Marie Forsberg is one of three new ‘local food heroes’ who are partnering with P&O Cruises. Their ship Iona launches in 2020, with her maiden season to be spent in the Norwegian Fjords. But it’s not just about the food – wine expert Olly Smith is on hand to match the perfect wines with summer recipes from Marte Marie.
