UK Kindle Storyteller Awards 2020 shortlist announced

Following a record number of entries, Amazon.co.uk has
announced the five self-published authors shortlisted for the UK Kindle Storyteller Award 2020.

The finalists and winning titles will be evaluated by a panel of judges including TV presenter and author Claudia Winkleman,
best-selling authors L.J. Ross and Mark Dawson, last year’s Kindle Storyteller Award winner Ian W. Sainsbury, Sacha Black
from the Alliance of Independent Authors and, from Amazon, EU Books Director Simon Johnson and UK Books Editor Jen
Barrett

Readers play a significant role in the shortlist selection, with their reviews and ratings taken into account, along with other
criteria that includes number of reads, sales creativity of content and quality and style of writing.

The Award was open to any work in the English language published on Kindle Direct Publishing between May 1st and August
31st 2020. The winning author will receive a £20,000 prize, a golden Kindle, marketing support on Amazon.co.uk and
mentoring. The winner will be announced this month.

Aston spoke to J.M Dalgleish who is one of the shortlisted nominees for the UK Kindle Storyteller Awards 2020 to discuss about his novel “Hear No Evil” and also how he first found out about being shortlisted for the awards itself.
