UK’s love of gardening continues to flourish in much needed boost for UK’s degraded soil

Brits have gone wild for gardening over the last two years, but has this newfound passion gone bloom or bust as some normality is restored?

New research by sustainable beauty brand Weleda reveals that a huge nine in 10 (88%) of us with an outdoor space remain committed to gardening, planning to spend the same if not more time being green-fingered this summer.

And 2022 is seeing new trends sprouting with many now having bird houses (68%) and bug hotels (41%) in their gardens, while 43% have created a place to seek calm with their own restorative mental wellbeing spaces (43%).
