Will Mellor on gas safety

Actor Will Mellor, best known for his latest role in TV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office, as well as Two Pints of Lager and Hollyoaks, has partnered with Gas Safe Register to help educate the nation about gas safety in the home.

A new tongue-in-cheek public service announcement-style film released today – narrated by Will – amusingly shows the consequences and impact on people’s day-to-day lives ‘when the gas goes’ at home.

Launching as Gas Safety Week gets underway across the UK (9^th – 15^th September), the film reminds householders of the importance of getting their gas appliances safety checked annually so as to avoid any scenarios where faulty appliances can lead to bigger inconveniences.

Aston spoke to actor Will Mellor & Rob Denman, head of professional and field services at Gas Safe Register.
