Wind power could be the answer to cost of living crisis

Energy is an obvious point of concern for many right now, with rising bills, geopolitical issues, and pressure to remain environmentally-conscious putting it front-of-mind for many across the UK.

In fact, 76% are worried about how high their future energy bills will be; 76% share concerns about energy security; and 73% are worried about the threat of climate change, according to new research from Statkraft, Europe’s largest generator of renewable energy.

More than eight in ten (83%) believe the UK should be energy independent, with three quarters (75%) concerned we rely on imports. Meanwhile, 63% believe that we are doing enough to tackle climate change, while only 31% have faith we will meet our climate action targets, with 88% completely unaware of any government carbon neutrality initiatives.
