Anna Richardson on the launch of the wellness train
One of the real benefits of traveling by train is that you can sit back, relax and enjoy the views. Riding the rails is a great way to rest and take care of yourself – making the trip about the journey and not just the destination. And with well-established links between wellbeing and train travel, the journey provides the perfect opportunity to indulge in activities that can enhance your sense of wellbeing.
To coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) is joining forces with television personality and wellness enthusiast Anna Richardson to welcome Britons onboard a special service dedicated to wellness and mental wellbeing. Each carriage on the Wellness Train will be taken over by a team of experts who have skills in crafts, games, mindfulness and wellbeing.
The special service – ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week (9th-14th May 2022) – will demonstrate how many different activities people can do on a train that makes their journey even more relaxing, with customers then able to enjoy a day out exploring Lincoln at their own leisure.
