Bisexual Awareness Week

This week is Bisexual Awareness Week, also known as #BiWeek, which is an annual celebration held from 16th-23rd  September.

For many bisexual individuals it is extremely hard to find their place in their LGBTQ+ community where they don’t fit into a straight-forward “box”.

According to research from Just Like Us, nearly three quarters (74%) of bisexual young people felt that their mental health had got worse since the pandemic, higher than the average of 68% of LGBT+ young people.

Young LGBT+ charity, Just Like Us, work with schools and run an Ambassador Programme to improve the lives of LGBT+ young people.

Aston spoke to Amy Ashenden from Just Like Us.
