Brits in denial about pollution

Millions of Brits don’t believe washing clothes, eating meat or leaving appliances plugged in are harmful to the environment.

And only one in four consider online shopping to be bad for the planet, despite the carbon footprint of deliveries.

The study, commissioned by Grundig, also shows that around a third of Brits (29%) believe they are ‘in denial’ when it comes to environmental issues and hope the problem will simply go away on its own.
