Brits’ love affair with camping at an all-time high

Camping’s always been a favourite pastime for Brits, whatever the weather.

Despite international travel being back on the agenda this summer, camping bookings across the UK are soaring and look set to take Brits’ love for the great British outdoors to new levels. 

But camping in 2022 is vastly different from the sleeping bag stereotypes of old.

According to Jonathan Knight, UK Country Manager for Hipcamp, Brits are booking some serious camping stays for this summer. From luxury teepees with added hot hubs, to wild meadows and water-side breaks for optimal wellness and mental health boosts, camping is having a moment.
