Key calendar moments including Christmas, Hanukkah and New Year’s Eve are fast approaching, and new data reveals that Brits are set to spend an average of 24 hours preparing for celebrations before the end of the year.

Though 71% people say these celebrations are their favourite time of year, all this planning, prepping and partying can put pressure on household bills, with 43% saying the cost of celebrating is always on their mind.
