The saying goes that travel often broadens the mind, but for many, long-haul trips to entertaining and exotic destinations often comes with one niggling side-effect…jetlag.
New research from Yotel shows that a third of Brits admit they struggle with jetlag, while in fact, more than 1 in 4 of us have been put off visiting a certain destination, due to the fear of suffering jetlag.
Jetlag itself can come in many forms, with the most common side effects people experience being exhaustion (26%), difficulty sleeping (25%) and headaches (22%).
Ryan spoke to sleep expert Dr Maja Schaedel.
