Listen: the importance of flu jabs

As well as marking the start of the festivities, December is when the flu virus starts to circulate. It typically takes between 10-14 days after the jab for the body to develop enough antibodies, so people should ideally have the vaccine by 17th November, ready for the 1st of December.

This is according to a study released by Boots UK.

Ros spoke to Marc Donovan, chief pharmacist at Boots UK.
